A lot of you have asked for more volunteer opportunities to help with the sale, so I have made a list of some things that would greatly benefit us and allow more people to help. You will earn between 1 and 2 preview party passes for each task you choose. Yes, that means you get to shop FIRST! We will be accepting volunteers for the below mentioned services on a 1st come,1st serve basis. You do not need to consign with us in order to be a volunteer. Copying flyers:
Do you have the ability to copy flyers for us? This can provide you with 1 presale pass. Please contact me for more information before July 1st.
Passing out flyers:
Once flyers are copied, we need to get these out to daycare centers, church organizations, and neighborhoods in the community. Advertising is a very important part of our success, so we need only the most responsible and hard working individuals to fill these positions. You will receive up to 2 presale passes for this. Call for more information on locations and neighborhoods that need to be covered!
Sign placement:
Can you provide printed vinyl signs to be placed in specified areas around Lexington or would you like to help place the signs we provide? This service is easy to do, but very important to the success of our sale. This service will provide you with up to 2 presale passes.
Clothing racks:
We are in search of quality clothing racks that can be used for the duration of the sale. As we continue to grow, we will need more and more. Do you have high quality retail store racks that you can bring to the sale, set up and then return to pick up after the sale? This can provide you with up to 2 presale passes depending on the number you can provide.
Snacks and Drinks:
Our workers are valuable to us and we would like to provide refreshments for them as they work. Please contact me for a list of items that are needed. You can receive 1 presale pass for donating 2 or more of these items.
Meals:
We spend a lot of long hours at the sale and are rarely able to get out to pick up lunch and/or dinner. Would you like to provide a meal for us? It can be as simple or as elaborate as you wish. Call for more details and a list of meals you can provide. Thanks! This can provide you with 2 presale passes, so team up with a friend.
Check in:
We need quality minded helpers to assist us in checking in clothing and getting items placed on the sales floor. Does this sound like you? Contact us for a list of times! Each shift is 3 hours long. This can provide you with 1 presale pass for each 3 hour shift.
Working the sale:
Our sale is only as good as our workers!! Would you like to volunteer 3 hours of your time to help us and your community? Snacks and fun are provided...we just need you! Contact us for a list of times! Each 3 hour shift will provide you with 1 presale pass.

If you like to walk and can lift heavy things...this is the choice for you. Men and women are accepted for this opportunity. After the end of the sale, we will sort all of the items that are left for consignor pick up and for donation. This is usually a 2 hour shift, but may take up to 3 hours. Time just flies and you get a work out too! Let us know soon if this is the right choice for you as it fills up quickly. This will provide you with 1 presale pass.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
In an effort to ensure the quality of the sale by retaining a sufficient number of volunteer workers, Belles and Beaus will require that workers fulfill their pledged obligation to work their assigned 3-hour shift or successfully complete their duty given prior to the sale. In the event a worker does not fulfill their obligation or find a suitable replacement on their behalf, the worker will not be allowed to participate as a volunteer worker again or participate in any future Volunteer Preview Parties. Some extenuating circumstances will be considered (such as a death in the family). Please understand that these guidelines have been created in an effort to maintain a high quality sale. Workers must be on time and fulfill their entire shift in order to reap the benefits of the Volunteer Preview Party. Thank you for your help. You are what makes our sale so great!
